About Mikayla
  Hi! My name is Mikayla Benner. I graduated from Liberty University with a      Bachelor of Science in Music and Worship with a Women's Leadership            Cognate in May 2021. I have always loved graphic design, paper crafting,          and photography. While owning this little business and creating all these        fun pieces, my ultimate goal is to share God's love within each piece I                make! My cards are unique and one of a kind, and I believe He has created      us just the same.

Background
I've been making handmade cards since I was 5 years old. Ducky Designs is the paper crafting business that I own. I have made hundreds of handmade cards, and have even had some sold in local shops around the area. I've been blessed with the opportunity to expand my business in making not only just cards, but journals, gift wrapping, and much more!

​My business started in my basement when I was about 12 years old. I had decided I wanted to use my talent and create cards to sell to raise money for an event called 30 Hour Famine, which is run through the organization World Vision.  I was able to raise a lot of money for this event, and my sixth grade Science teacher, thought it would be a cool idea if I not only sold them for this, but also could maybe start up my own business, and eventually help raise money for other charities, and help me expand my education.

​I have had so much fun meeting new people, and sharing my story and creativity with others.
​My hope is to continue my business, and one day be able to own my own shop.
